Templates are a special type of page where you can add blocks that will be referenced into every page, either above or below the pages own blocks.
Create and Manage Templates
Every project will start with one template, you can create others from the main dashboard by clicking the templates icon on the left control panel, then
Edit Templates
To open a template just click on it from the manager, it will open in an editor essentially the same as the page editor - but with a placeholder that represents page content. You can add blocks above or below the page content, and make them hidden or visible by default.
Customizing templates for specific pages
To override the templates within a specific page, click the page template icon in the page controls.
Choose a specific template.
Customize the page width.
Control which template blocks are loaded in the page.
Excluding Blocks
To completely exclude a template block from loading in a page, use the Blocks option in the page template controls as shown above.
You can include hidden blocks in the template, and make them visible when an action occurs in a page.
Applying Overrides
When a block is referenced into a page (from a template, or the library) it becomes partially editable. The components and layout are fixed, but the content and settings can be edited and any changes will only apply within the current page.
Common use-cases...
